Refunds

Short version: if you bought it directly from me and it’s not what you hoped, email me within 30 days and I’ll refund you. You don’t need to explain yourself.

First — where did you buy it?

Two different things are sold here, and they work differently.

Bought directly from this site. Ebooks and digital products you paid for through my own checkout. This policy applies, and you deal with me.

Bought on Amazon. Some of my books are published through Amazon. When you buy one, your purchase is with Amazon — not with me. I’m the author, not the seller. I can’t see the order, can’t process a refund, and can’t cancel it. Returns are handled through your Amazon account under Amazon’s own returns policy

That’s not me passing you off. It’s genuinely the only route, and Amazon’s process is quick.

Not sure which one you bought? Check the name on your bank statement, or email me and I’ll tell you.

Bought directly from this site

Ebooks and one-off purchases

Contact me directly within 30 days of buying and ask for a refund. I don’t need a reason, I won’t ask you to justify it, and I won’t try to talk you out of it.

Refunds go back to the payment method you used. They usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.

If something went wrong

If the file didn’t arrive, didn’t open, or the download link stopped working, email me *before* asking for a refund. Nine times out of ten it’s a delivery problem I can fix in a few minutes — and then you keep the book.

What shows on your statement

Direct purchases are processed by [PAYMENT PROVIDER], who acts as the merchant of record. That means the charge on your card or bank statement shows their name, not mine.

If you see a charge you don’t recognize, that’s almost always why. Email me and I’ll confirm it for you.

Please email me before disputing a charge

A chargeback takes weeks and costs us both. A refund takes one email and a few days. If you’re unhappy with something you bought, I’d genuinely rather just refund you.

Subscriptions and memberships

You can cancel at any time from your account, and you won’t be billed again after that.

Cancelling stops future payments — it doesn’t refund the period you’re currently in, and your access continues to the end of it. If a renewal caught you by surprise, email me and I’ll sort it out.

Your consumer rights
